For many generations Nguni Cattle have been prized by the Zulu people. These cattle, adapted over hundreds of years to this part of Southern Africa, have been pivotal in providing meat, milk, hides and decorative horn items for centuries. Bloodlines and the unique coat patterns and colours have been passed down from father to son, and are remembered as heritage, rather than in written form. They are revered by the people of Zululand and throughout Southern Africa as part of their culture and heritage.
