Shipping Policy

At Isibuko Somenzi, each piece is carefully prepared and packaged to ensure it reaches you safely. As we work with handmade Zulu crafts — ranging from small gift items to large wooden sculptures, baskets, and clay pots— delivery timelines and costs may vary depending on size, weight, and destination.

1. Shipping Locations

We currently deliver across South Africa.

International shipping will be introduced in future phases of our business. Updates will be announced on our website.

2. Processing Time (Before Dispatch)

All orders require 1–3 business days for processing before dispatch. This allows us to:

  • Carefully inspect items
  • Package fragile pieces securely
  • Arrange appropriate courier collection

Please note: During busy periods or for larger handcrafted pieces, processing may take slightly longer. We will communicate if delays occur.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery after dispatch:

  • Major Cities: 4-6 business days
  • Outlying / Regional Areas: 6-8  business days

Delivery times exclude weekends and public holidays. Please understand that delivery timelines are estimates provided by courier partners and are not guaranteed.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery location and package size/weight.

Standard Shipping Rates:

  •   Mini: 0–2 kg → R105

  •   Small: 3–5 kg → R115

  •   Medium: 6–10 kg → R165

  •  Large: 11–15 kg → R200

  •  XL: 16–20 kg → R280

For larger or heavier handcrafted items (such as wooden sculptures), shipping will be quoted separately to ensure safe and appropriate transport.
